Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your engagement with BiliTiles, operated by Yanshen Decorative Materials Co., Ltd. ("we," "our," or "us"), for the commissioning of custom mosaic lettering and related services. By submitting an inquiry or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Nature of Products

All BiliTiles products are fully bespoke, made-to-order mosaic artworks. Each piece is handcrafted to your exact specifications — including custom dimensions, materials, color palette, and lettering design. No two commissions are identical. You acknowledge that what you are purchasing is a one-of-a-kind architectural artwork, not an off-the-shelf product.

2. Orders & Approval

• Design approval is binding. After you receive and approve the dimensional drawing, material sample, and AI preview render, production begins. You may request up to two rounds of design revisions at no charge. Additional revisions beyond the second round are billed at $150 per round.
• Minimum order. Our minimum commission value is $500 USD.
• Right to decline. We reserve the right to decline any commission that involves copyrighted or trademarked material for which the client cannot demonstrate ownership or license.

3. Pricing & Payment

• All prices are quoted in USD and are valid for 30 days from the quote date.
• Payment schedule: 50% non-refundable deposit upon design approval; 50% balance due upon final QC photos before shipping.
• Wire transfer (T/T) and Wise payments receive a 15% discount on the total invoice. PayPal and credit card payments are processed at the listed price.
• Production does not commence until the deposit is received and cleared.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Before design approval: Full refund of any payments made.
• After design approval, before production: Deposit is non-refundable. Any balance paid beyond the deposit is refunded in full.
• After production begins: No refunds. Because each mosaic is custom-manufactured to your unique specifications, it cannot be resold, repurposed, or restocked. The 50% deposit and any subsequent payments are non-refundable once tiles have been cut.
• Shipping damage: Covered in full by our included insurance (see Section 6).

5. Factory-Direct Terms

You are contracting directly with the manufacturing source in Foshan, Guangdong, China. This factory-direct model eliminates intermediaries and is reflected in our pricing. You acknowledge that:

• All production takes place at our Foshan workshop.
• International clients are responsible for any import duties, customs clearance fees, or local taxes applicable in the destination country.
• Our business relationship is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Foshan.

6. Shipping, Insurance & Delivery

• All shipments include full-value insurance covering loss, theft, and damage during transit.
• You must inspect the crate upon delivery and photograph any external damage before opening. Damage claims must be filed within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
• We are not liable for delays caused by customs holds, port congestion, natural disasters, or force majeure events.

7. Warranty

• Workmanship: 10-year warranty against tile delamination, grout failure, and material defects under normal indoor conditions.
• Gold leaf: 10-year warranty against peeling or tarnishing when maintained per our care instructions.
• Outdoor installations: 5-year warranty on weatherproof-rated materials. Warranty is void if installation deviates from our provided guide or if improper cleaning chemicals are used.

8. Intellectual Property

• Your designs remain yours. We claim no ownership over logos, brand marks, or original artwork you provide.
• Our production methods remain ours. Our proprietary glazing, cutting, and assembly techniques are trade secrets of Yanshen Decorative Materials Co., Ltd.
• We may photograph completed pieces for internal QC archives only. Portfolio display requires your prior written consent.
